Bạc Liêu

Bạc Liêu is a meeting point of Kinh, Khmer and Chinese culture, famous for the legend of the "Công tử Bạc Liêu" (the young lord of Bạc Liêu), and its cuisine carries a strong Chinese imprint alongside the river dishes of the Mekong Delta. Its two best-known specialities are bún bò cay and bánh tằm bì — both named among Vietnam's representative dishes.
