Bến Tre

Bến Tre is called Vietnam's "coconut country", with groves stretching the length of its river islands, and almost every speciality of the province is tied to the coconut — from the coconut candy known around the world, to plain everyday dishes like đuông dừa (coconut palm weevil larvae) and cơm dừa (rice cooked with coconut).
